What was it like for Mary this day?

And the angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy— the Son of God.” ...  And Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word."

Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom ... they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

And his mother treasured up all these things in her heart.
και η μητηρ αυτου διετηρει παντα τα ρηματα ταυτα εν τη καρδια αυτης

... standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and ... When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Woman, behold, your son!" Then he said to the disciple, "Behold, your mother!"

... [Jesus] said, "It is finished," and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
